Baby Quilts

These are two baby quilts I recently completed quilting for a customer.

They are so pretty and fresh and soft..I quilted sheep on one and ducks on the other.

The backs are beautiful, soft flannel and I think they will be well received by a couple of very lucky babies!

I am linking with The Needle and Thread Network.

  7. At first glance I thought the sheep, were clouds. It was such a wonderful surprise to look a little closer and see those little heads and legs. The ducks are also adorable. What a wonderful way to finish off a child's quilt.

Oh, Jeantte, I bet you could quilt any shape! Hesitancy is what holds us back. Slap together a sample piece, allow yourself to play and try some loops and swirls. I bet you will surprise yourself!

Thanks, Jo! I did consider clouds, but loved the idea of sheep to go with the fabric. Even at my ripe older age, I still resort to counting sheep when sleep just won’t come..
