A Scrap Quilt

This is a quilt I recently finished for an old friend.
Freda and I first met through the Greater Moncton Quilt Guild and she has been making quilts for many years.
These days she makes most of her quilts to sell at the local quilt shows.

Freda provided me with a poly batting and I used very simple quilting designs on her scrap quilt.

  2. Pretty! The quilting looks lovely on this quilt! Are you taking quilt tops to do? I have one laying in wait for quilting. It's a postage stamp.

Thanks so much, Linda! I love scrappy and string quilts, too...I need to get using my bits and pieces up now that I am “retired”..lol

Thanks, Holly! I like using this design and variations of it - I am actually quilting one for a client in a similar fashion today. I am taking tops to do and would be very happy to quilt for you! If you decide you might like me to, my hubby is heading to your neck of the woods next week for a wedding and you could possibly send it back with him.
